State Champs are back with a fresh take on one of their fan favorites with the reimagined version of “(For The) Hell Of It”. Frontman Derek DiScanio opens up about the process, sharing that revisiting the track was both exciting and creatively liberating. “The reimagined version of ‘Hell Of It’ was a fun process, getting to experiment with different elements of production and approach everything from a different perspective sonically,” he explains. Beyond production, DiScanio highlights the chance to re-record vocals, try new runs, and explore ad-libs that gave the song a fresh energy and new life.
