Make Do And Mend have regrouped and have announced a new album entitled "On Going". They will joining I Am The Avalanche this summer on a north east tour. You can read their statement below:

Old friends,

I hope life and time have treated you gently since we last spoke.

About eleven years ago, after releasing and touring on our album Don't Be Long, we stepped away from being a full-time band to focus our energies on other important parts of our lives. We didn't say much about it. We decided to just let it be.

Since then, like many of you, we've found careers, built marriages, started families. We've loved, we've lost. We've celebrated, we've hurt.

Make Do And Mend never stopped being a living, breathing thing for us. Even in our time of creative inactivity, Matt, Mike, and I continued to communicate almost daily. In truth, we've become better friends than we ever were before. Kind of strange how age and maturity can do that.

The nights we spent in small rooms with you playing our songs, and the long drives between them, still mean a lot to us. We think about them often.

Over the past year or so, we started to bat around what being creative together again might look like. We began sharing ideas, which led to a collection of new songs that will make up the fourth Make Do and Mend album. We humbly regard it as our best.

We'll have more to share soon about when and how this new album will find its way to you. For now, we’ll let you know, the album is called On Going.

We've also got news of new gigs coming up, with more on the way.

We are so excited to be with you again. We’ve missed it.

We fired up our old email address, and we'd love to reconnect. If you'd like to say hello, catch up, or share a bit about what you've been up to, shoot us an email at makedoandmendband@yahoo.com

For always

As always,

James
